Leadership Team

PASTOR JEREMY PORRAS
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Jeremy has been a worship leader at churches since 1991. He felt the call to lead worship at a young age and holds a Bachelors degree from Biola University and a Master’s degree from California State Long Beach. He married his high-school sweetheart Candace in 1997 and they are raising two daughters. They moved from Los Angeles to Raleigh in 2007 and Jeremy became the Worship Pastor at Crossroads Fellowship Church. In 2014, the Lord gave him a new passion to serve the inner cities’ physical and spiritual needs, bringing a message of hope to the seemingly hopeless. Since founding Raleigh Dream Center in 2014, that passion now inspires many others to the call that we all have to serve others as Jesus describes in Matthew 25:40. RDC now reaches thousands weekly through different outreaches and is partnering with churches to do our part of the Great Commission to reach our city.

CANDACE PORRAS
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Candace is from Whittier, CA. and moved to Raleigh with her family in 2007. She received a BS in Business Administration from Biola University in La Mirada, CA. She has worked as a sales rep for a Christian music distribution company, a Membership Coordinator for an athletic club, an Event Coordinator for a large church, and is currently a Real Estate Broker. But the biggest joy in her career has been the task of helping her husband to launch this non-profit that brings hope and healing to so many struggling with life-controlling issues. Her passion is to see people’s lives changed by the power of Christ, where they find their God-given cause and seek to bring that transformation to others around them.

He has worked in University Enrollment, Specialized Plumbing, and held various roles within the local church.
