RDC Student Academy Curriculum

Each week students will experience various aspects of local missions including serving in communities, preparing for events, and ways to grow in their faith and education.

RDC Academy Track 1:

Students will serve at our summer reading program for children; serve at Adopt-A-Block; help prepare for outreach events; will be given evangelism training; participate in a leadership book study.

RDC Academy Track 2:

This track is more extensive and students will experience leadership training and be exposed to every ministry of the Dream Center. It includes everything from track 1 and also the following:

-Participate in weekly Dream Center staff meetings.

-Participate in weekly sessions taught by the Dream Center staff.  Every staff member will teach the students about their area of expertise over the course of the program.

-Weekly Leadership Classes:  We desire each student to grow in their leadership abilities.  Along with the leadership book study, we will also offer classes that focus on various leadership topics that include how to lead an outreach, manage volunteers, organize events, and essential leadership skills.

-Devotionals: Devotionals is a time where the RDC-SA students get the opportunity to share what God has placed on their heart. Each student is assigned a morning to speak for 15-20 minutes to challenge and inspire the class for the day ahead.

-RDC-SA Chapel: The heart of Raleigh Dream Center Student Academy is to equally combine serving with spiritual growth. Once a week we are able to meet together and have a time of corporate worship and teaching from our Staff members and various guest speakers. This gives the students time to be poured into and prayed over by their peers and RDCSA staff, making sure they are spiritually filled and ready for their week.  We want to spark a desire for students to ask genuine questions that will help them grow in their faith in Jesus Christ.
