CLAYS TO RAISE
Sporting Clays Tournament
For A Cause
Mark your calendars for Friday, May 1st, 2026 — our annual Clays To Raise Tournament hosted by Counterweight Private Wealth is back!
Teams will rotate through 13 stations of sporting clays, and no experience is needed — full training is provided before the tournament begins. You’ll be paired into teams of 4, so grab your friends and sign up together.
All proceeds support Raleigh Dream Center’s DCD Addiction Recovery Program — a residential program that is provided at no cost to residents. We rely on donations and fundraising events like this to keep the doors open and to continue supporting individuals on their journey of restoration through Christ.

Why It Matters
Your generosity funds Dream Center Discipleship (DCD) — a one-year faith-based residential program for men and women to experience freedom from substance abuse addiction. The program is structured to eliminate distractions so participants can focus on building a healthy foundation to rebuild their lives and rekindle their dreams.
Food, housing, education, and mentorship are all provided free of charge — made possible by generous donors like you. Every ticket, sponsorship, and donation from Clays To Raise goes directly toward keeping this life-changing program open and accessible to those who need it most.
A LIFE TRANSFORMED
“I come from a family of seven. Within a five year period, all my family had passed away. That pretty much led to my alcohol problem. I’ve been to several rehabs but they never seem to work.
When I heard about Raleigh Dream Center, I was a little skeptical – it sounded like an adult daycare center to me. But I was homeless. Having a place to stay for a year is a good thing. So I applied, and the next day I was accepted.
What hit me the most wasn’t the housing, or the food, or the clothes. It was the love. From the moment I walked in, everybody just loved on me. That was something I hadn’t had in a long time.
Before I came here, I felt like a breathing bag of skin, just sitting on a bench. No purpose. No wants. No desires. Nothing. Just sitting there with my bottle, watching the world go by.
I used to think of God as just a mean person sitting up there waiting for me to mess up so he could put his wrath on me. I never knew him as a kind, loving God. But that’s how I know him today. I know He will never let me go.
I lost my whole family. But God provided a new one through DCD. We live together, eat together, and study together. We are always just the same group of guys. My friend Chris and I started cooking for the Dream Center together. We basically became like brothers. If you saw one, you saw the other. I can go to him with anything. And that is like getting a little bit of my family back.
Jeremiah 29 is my life verse — God’s going to give me a future and give me hope. He’s already done that.
I don’t really think of this as a graduation. I want to stay connected. This is just another step forward. I’m not going to graduate until I see Jesus face to face. That’s the real graduation.”
