PROVIDING FOR THOUSANDS IN NEED
Since opening our new food warehouse in March 2020, we provide 30,000 pounds of food a week to local communities through our outreaches! We use these free groceries to help meet a physical need, but most importantly it is a tool for us to be able to build relationships and share the gospel.
Volunteer To Serve In Our Food Warehouse
Come serve in our warehouse helping collect and organize our food donations for distribution.
MONDAY / WEDNESDAY / FRIDAY FROM 2:00 -5:00 PM
Location: RDC is located in New Hope Baptist Church, 4301 Louisburg Road in Raleigh, enter parking lot off of Calvary Rd.
This shift will be sorting food and packing grocery bags for our outreach ministries.
THURSDAY FROM 2:00 - 4:30 PM
Location: 10520 Star Rd in Wake Forest in the back of Living Word Family Church. Drive to the back of the Living Word Family Church parking lot and enter into the back part of the church.
This shift will be in our large warehouse, organizing and sorting bins and boxes to prepare to be taken to our office for prepping. You will need to be able to bend and lift.
AGE REQUIREMENT - due to heavy equipment and materials in the warehouse, we ask for volunteers to be at least 12+

Drop Off Food Donations To Our Food Warehouse
Consider hosting a food drive and dropping items off at our food warehouse. You could do any non-perishable items, or even specific product drive, such as diapers & baby food.
DROP OFF LOCATION: 4301 Louisburg Rd. in Raleigh. Enter through the parking lot off of Calvary Dr. behind New Hope Baptist Church.
DROP OFF TIMES:
Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

We have put together a media kit for your company or church to use as a call to action, to rally volunteers to hosting a food drive!

Volunteer On Our Driving Team
Do you have a truck or have experience with driving large vehicles or box trucks? We are looking for volunteers who would be willing to participate in a rotating driving team for food pick ups and deliveries. We pick up from Lidl, Wegman's, Costco, Target, Amazon and the Food Bank Mondays - Saturdays at various times.
