Mobile Food Pantry

Food insecurity is a reality in the Triangle area, with 1 out of 6 people not knowing where their next meal will come from. NC ranks 10th in the nation for highest rates of hunger. Every week we supply over a 100,000 pounds of free groceries to help meet a physical need in local communities, but most importantly it is a tool for us to be able to build relationships and share the good news of the gospel.

We need volunteers to help in distributing the food and ministering to people. Click on the appropriate week below to volunteer during the weekdays (some weeks may be altered due to holidays).

Rotation B: Week of 5/13 - 5/16

Rotation B: Week of 5/27 - 5/30

WEEK A ROTATION:

  • WEDNESDAYS: Neuse Estates – 10:45am for volunteers / 11:30am food distribution at 7001 Poole Rd, Raleigh
  • THURSDAYS: Buffaloe Mobile Home Park – 10:45am for volunteers / 11:30am food distribution at 6109 Buffaloe Rd, Raleigh
  • FRIDAYS: Rush Metropolitan Church – 9am for volunteers / 10:30am food distribution at 558 Cabarrus st, Raleigh NC 27601

WEEK B ROTATION:

  • TUESDAYS: Foxhall Village – 10:45am for volunteers / 11:30am food distribution at 5909 Foxhall Village Rd, Raleigh
  • WEDNESDAYS: Treetop Apartments – 10:45am for volunteers / 11:30am food distribution at 1328 Stainbeck Dr, Raleigh
  • THURSDAYS: Overlooke at Simms Creek Apartments – 10:45am for volunteers / 11:30am food distribution at 730 Archean Way, Raleigh
  • FRIDAYS: Rush Metropolitan Church – 9am for volunteers / 10:30am food distribution at 558 Cabarrus st, Raleigh NC 27601

Volunteer Leadership & Truck Drivers

If you want to have the greatest impact on a particular community and truly work on building relationships, prayerfully consider committing to a leadership position within our Mobile Food Pantry.

If you have experience with driving large vehicles or box trucks, come be a part of our rotating driving team for food pick ups and deliveries. We pick up from Wegman’s, Costco, Harris Teeter, Target, Food Lion, Amazon Fresh, the Food Bank and more.
