“He that is generous to the needy, honors the Lord.”
Proverbs 14:31
you are not forgotten
Everyday there are thousands of people in Wake County experiencing homelessness. We believe that everyone deserves love and dignity which is why we are passionate about reaching out to those in need. More and more, the face of homelessness includes families, seniors and veterans. We need to take time to listen and let people know they are not forgotten.
Volunteer for Street Outreach & Family Night
Raleigh Dream Center volunteers serve downtown every Tuesday, offering prayer, hygiene products, and a variety of care packages, providing transportation to and from Family Night, where we serve a free dinner and worship service.
We also provide childcare, free clothing boutiques, a public recovery class, and discipleship group with opportunities for baptism. Additional Opportunities can be found under the maps.
This is an opportunity to do street outreach alongside our RDC Staff.
We meet at Raleigh Dream Center at 3:30 pm every Tuesday and drive to Moore Square downtown.
There we spend time building relationships by listening and praying for people experiencing homelessness. We invite people from the square and provide transportation for anyone who wants to join us for our dinner and worship service back at Raleigh Dream Center.
Our busses leave Moore Square around 5:15pm to drive back to RDC.
