SPECIAL NOTE:

Everyone’s health and safety are a top priority and we do not want to encourage anyone to serve if you do not feel comfortable doing so, feel sick or have sick members in your family. With the Stay-At-Home Order in place, we are allowed as a food provider to stay open, but we do ask for any volunteers to come directly from their home to their site location and then return home. If you have your own clean mask and gloves, please bring them. We will take all measures as we serve to sanitize and set up our ministry to serve at a safe distance.

Here is some guidance from the CDC about how to wear a mask (as well as how to make your own):

“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” John 15:12

We are called to love our neighbors and Raleigh Dream Center is committed to providing avenues for you to love others during these uncertain times. We do not want to live in fear, but are pursuing wisdom as we care for our communities.

Sign Up To Serve Lunches On Weekdays

We are partnering with the Wake County Public School System to provide over 2,500 meals a day including free hot lunches and a shelf stable breakfast five days a week. All food will be prepared in school kitchens and brought to our Adopt-A-Block site locations. The kids can pick up their food and then promptly take their food home.

We need around 20-25 volunteers each weekday to serve from 11-1pm at various locations to present the meals to the children.

Sign Up To Serve In Our Food Warehouse

Come serve in our warehouse helping collect and organize our food donations for distribution. We need 4 volunteers on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
from 2-5 pm.

Location: 4301 Louisburg Road in Raleigh. Enter through the parking lot off of Calvary Dr. behind New Hope Baptist Church.

Sign Up To Serve At
Adopt-A-Block on Saturdays

Our Adopt-A-Blocks have been modified to be food ministry only. We only need 3 volunteers per site to help deliver the much needed free groceries from 10-12 on Saturdays. (Please do not show up in communities unless you are the 3 volunteers scheduled)
