Volunteering with Project Light

We deeply appreciate your willingness to volunteer with Project Light! As we cater to a vulnerable population, we have a careful vetting process in place to ensure that every volunteer has a fulfilling and impactful experience while prioritizing the exceptional care of our women. The process to become a volunteer is comprised of these 6 steps:

Step 1 - Read, Watch & Pray

We HIGHLY encourage you take these informative steps below BEFORE you fill out our Volunteer Application Form. After reading, watching, and prayerful consideration, please fill out the Volunteer Application Form.

Step 2 - Review

Review our Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct to ensure your values align with our organization.

    Step 3 - Apply

    Fill out our Project Light Volunteer Application Form.

    Step 4 - Background Check

    Undergo a criminal background check. Please make a donation of $30 to cover the cost and put Background Check Donation in your comments.

    Step 5 - Meet

    We will reach out to you to schedule a one-on-one meeting to discuss the opportunities and scheduling. If you are placed onto a volunteer team, you will move forward with your training.

      Step 6 - Train

      Once placed on a volunteer team, you will receive instructions on your trauma-informed training and orientation.
