Give Stock & Non Cash Assets

Every gift to Raleigh Dream Center helps bring hope, healing, and restoration to people in our community. Giving stock or other assets is a powerful way to give, and it may offer you added tax benefits.

Why give this way? When you give appreciated stock you’ve held for more than a year, you may be able to deduct its full market value and avoid capital gains tax on the growth. Your gift goes further, and so does your impact.

Option 1: Give through National Christian Foundation

We partner with National Christian Foundation (NCF), a trusted Christian giving organization, to receive stock, mutual funds, and other assets on our behalf.

Step 1: Contact your broker. Ask your broker or financial advisor to transfer your shares using the details below. Please transfer by number of shares (not dollar amount), and ask that the shares be transferred as-is rather than sold. Be sure to include your name and our fund name and number on the transfer.

Step 2: Fill out the Letter of Intent. Download our Stock Letter of Intent and send one copy to each of the following: your broker, NCF, and Raleigh Dream Center. This step is important. Without it, NCF can’t match your gift to RDC.

Step 3: Confirm the transfer. Check with your broker that the transfer is complete. Once NCF receives it, it usually takes 4 to 7 business days for your gift to post.
